Rolf Paul Knierim (born July 8, 1928 in Pirmasens, Germany) is an Old Testament scholar. He is Professor of Old Testament Emeritus at the Claremont School of Theology and Avery Professor of Religion Emeritus at Claremont Graduate University.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://iac.cgu.edu/research/fotlp.html )〕 Knierim studied at the University of Heidelberg under Gerhard von Rad.
